Meet Our Team

Amelia Wieger is an accomplished and dedicated Circus Arts Instructor, Program Director and School Director, and will be taking on the role of Co-Executive Director of The Climb Circus Arts. She has nine years of experience in teaching across many disciplines from aerials to ground skills, and has focused most of her Circus Arts career in Youth Programming. As a teacher and director, Amelia is passionate about fostering a safe and inclusive community for all students through the art of circus. She approaches teaching from a place of encouragement and motivation, and places an emphasis on the overall well-being of the student, not just the outcome of skills learned. 

Coach Lynn is excited to be a part of the Climb Circus Arts. With 20 years of dance and gymnastics and over 10 years of Circus Arts experience, she coaches ages 3-103. She has additional experience in adapting aerials for all ages, body types and abilities and looks forward to bringing these classes to The Climb community.

As a coach Eliana loves working with students of all ages and abilities and has certifications in teaching specialties such as adaptive circus.

Devon tumbled her way into circus training and performing from the realm of competitive sports over 20 years ago, and has been coaching a variety of circus arts since 2008. A lifelong enthusiast of both athletics and performing arts, Devon began gymnastics at age two and joined her first choir soon after. She fell in love at first flight with flying trapeze while on family vacation as a child and dabbled in circus on and off until, after 7 years of classical ballet training and a competitive gymnastics career that culminated in two NJ State Championship titles, an ACL injury forced her to switch gears. What better way to maximize transferable skills and reduce high impact joint risks than by getting off the ground entirely? Enter: aerial arts! Devon loves how circus allows her to combine her gymnastics, dance, and musical backgrounds so seamlessly, making the most of her musicality, physicality, and creativity. 

Jessica Kursar believes in the magic of circus arts, as she has felt it for herself and her family. Starting out as a student at and working her way into teaching, she has always felt supported in the circus community. As a board member of The Climb she is thrilled to be able to share in the gift that circus is for so many people.

Lauren has expressed her love of performance through circus arts, as an aerialist and wire walker. She loves learning from other artists and using her body to creatively express herself.

Sharyn Brandman has been a pioneer in the circus community in New Jersey for over a decade. Outside of circus, Sharyn is the mother to three wonderful children, Matt, Kyra, and Alec, who have all been involved in the circus arts since childhood.
